Thermocouple grade wire is used in that it is vital for engineers to understand the properties and differences of both wires. Usually it comes in different types like K-type, J-type, T-type, E-type, L-type, N-type, R-type. It also comes in thermocouple extension wire and thermocouple compensating wire.
