The pt100 temperature sensor is a meter that converts temperature variables into a standardized output signal that can be transmitted. Mainly used for measurement and control of industrial process temperature parameters.PT100 thermal resistance is a temperature sensors contain a resistor that changes resistance value as its temperature changes. They have been used for measuring temperature in laboratory and industrial processes, and have a good reputation for accuracy, repeatability, and stability.
Whether a pt100 rtd is used depends on the respective application. In the process industry, thermal resistance represent the most frequently used and the most common type of resistance sensor worldwide.
