The coil heater is made of ni-cr resistance wire and placed in a ni-cr steel tube filled with Mgo powder. After compaction, heat transfer is faster and more effective.
These heaters are annealed to obtain malleability and can be made into any shape.
A hot runner heater with a built-in thermocouple is also available.
